How to Find Your Local One Stop Center

Posted by Ashley Gerwitz - On March 16, 2011 (EST)

One Stop Career Centers can be a valuable resource for Job Clubs. There are 3,000 One Stops across the country that are funded and administered by the U.S. Department of Labor. One Stops help job seekers look for work and provide on-site classes in resume building and other job search skills. One Stops can also provide information on job training opportunities, as well as services for employers looking to hire.

Job Clubs may want to partner with One Stops in one of several areas, such as:

- referring Job Club participants for job search and training assistance;
- hosting One Stop staff at Job Club meetings;
- receiving job orders, training recommendations, and other valuable resources from One Stops.

To find the One Stop nearest you, go to America's Service Locator at: and type in your zip code or city/state.
