About the Partnerships Community of Practice (CoP)

The Partnerships CoP is an online learning destination for individuals involved with job clubs, career ministries, and employment networking groups, whether as practitioners, partners, or participants. The purpose of this peer-to-peer learning community is to better integrate the work of job clubs into the workforce system, so that the system as a whole can serve more people and can better serve underserved populations, including the long-term unemployed, older workers, and workers from low-income and disadvantaged communities. When you participate in this community you will learn about the valuable work of job clubs and other community-based efforts to help Americans get and stay employed. You can download tools and resources to run a job club and use the state directory to find job clubs across the country. When you participate in the Partnerships Community you will learn about upcoming events, including conference calls, webinars, and in-person events that will help you start or maintain your job club. And finally, when you participate in the community, you will also help others in the workforce system benefit from your knowledge and information about how to improve service delivery and partner with the workforce system, including One-Stop Career Centers, community colleges, and nonprofit organizations.
